Suraksha Sathi
Community Safety • First Response Preparedness • Citizen-Led Emergency Support Network
The Suraksha Sathi Initiative, launched under the proactive leadership of Shri Nitin Shakya, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Patel Nagar) in collaboration with Trinity Foundation, is a community-driven program aimed at training citizens as first responders to handle emergency situations effectively.
Designed as a public safety and resilience-building model, the initiative equips ordinary citizens with the knowledge, skill, and confidence to act during crises such as medical emergencies, road accidents, fire hazards, and public safety incidents — ensuring timely assistance before professional responders arrive.
This initiative reflects a governance approach rooted in Jan-Bhagidari (People’s Participation) and advances the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of a Surakshit, Saksham, and Sashakt Bharat, where communities are empowered, aware, and prepared.
