Arogya Bharat – Mobile Community Outreach & Citizen Support Initiative
Awareness • Access • Inclusion • Last-Mile Service Delivery

The Arogya Bharat initiative, launched under the leadership of Shri Nitin Shakya, SDM Patel Nagar, in partnership with Trinity Foundation, is a mobile community outreach and public welfare facilitation program designed to ensure thatgovernment schemes and citizen support services reach people at their doorstep.

At the heart of the initiative is a Mobile Awareness Van, developed and operated with the support of Trinity Foundation, which travels across neighborhoods, markets, colonies, and underserved settlements to inform, educate, and engage citizens about important health, welfare, social security, financial inclusion, and district administration services.

Purpose & Need

Many eligible citizens remain unaware of government schemes or face challenges in accessing documentation, enrollment, and follow-up processes.

To bridge this gap, Arogya Bharat delivers:

  • Information in the community’s own space
  • Assistance in understanding scheme benefits
  • On-the-spot support for application and onboarding

This ensures that no citizen is left behind, especially individuals from EWS communities, senior citizens, single women, differently-abled persons, and migrant households.

Key Features of the Initiative

1. Mobile Awareness & Information Outreach

The van conducts doorstep and community awareness sessions, covering:

  • Healthcare & wellness programs
  • Social welfare schemes
  • Government ID documentation processes
  • Insurance, pensions & financial security services
  • District-level citizen support services & grievance channels

2. End-to-End Beneficiary Support

Supported by trained Trinity Volunteers, the initiative provides:

  • Form filling & application assistance
  • Digital onboarding & portal registrations
  • Guidance on documents required
  • Follow-up support until benefits are activated

This ensures access, clarity, and completion, not just awareness.

2. Community Engagement & Trust-Building

The outreach team works closely with:

  • RWAs & Mohalla Committees
  • Women & youth groups
  • Slum cluster representatives
  • Community health animators
  • Local market and workplace associations

This localized approach strengthens public trust and administrative visibility.

Impact & Reach

The Arogya Bharat Mobile Van has successfully:

  • Reached diverse and underserved local populations across Patel Nagar and adjoining areas
  • Enabled thousands of citizens to enroll in government schemes
  • Improved awareness on preventive health and welfare benefits
  • Created a smoother, citizen-friendly interface with the district administration

Most importantly, the program ensures that government benefits travel to the people — not the other way around.

Role of Trinity Foundation

Trinity Foundation serves as the implementation and community mobilization partner, responsible for:

  • Operating the mobile awareness van
  • Deploying & training volunteer outreach teams
  • Conducting awareness engagements and onboarding support
  • Creating follow-up systems to track beneficiary outcomes

Their involvement ensures ground-level execution, consistency, and human-centered support.

A Model of Inclusive Governance

Arogya Bharat demonstrates how administration and civil society partnerships can deliver real change, ensuring:

  • Awareness → Access → Enrollment → Benefit
  • Effective last-mile service delivery
  • Strengthened public confidence in government welfare systems

This initiative stands as a replicable district-level model for inclusive, people-first governance.
